Ingredients for making Chana Dal Puri
1 cup gram dal
1/2 cup wheat flour
2 green chillies
Green coriander
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying
Method
To make chana dal puri, first, soak the dal for 4-5 hours. When the lentils swell properly, drain out the water, dry it, and then grind it properly.
After grinding the pulses, add wheat flour, green chilies, green coriander, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt in a big bowl. Mix all the ingredients well and knead a soft dough. After preparing the dough, cover it and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
After some time, start making balls from this dough. Prepare thin and small puris from this dough. Now fry these puris in hot oil. Place these fried puris on kitchen tissue paper and remove excess oil. Serve prepared gram dal puri with pickle and raita.
