What is ABC juice?

ABC juice or apple, beetroot and carrot juice is a famous detox drink that has become a favourite of many fitness freaks in recent times. ABC juice is rich in essential nutrients like zinc, potassium, manganese and several vitamins like vitamins A, B6, C and many more. It benefits your body in many ways.

Necessary Ingredients-

  • Amla - 3
  • Beet (boiled) - 1
  • Carrot (boiled) - 2

Additional material

  • Coriander leaves - a handful
  • Curry leaves - 7-8
  • Mint leaves - a handful
  • Ginger - 1 piece
  • Lemon (optional) - half
  • Raisins - a little (to make it sweet)
  • Salt - 1 tsp

Method to prepare and use-

  • Cut out the required material.
  • Add additional ingredients of your choice and add 1 glass of water.
  • Grind it into a mixture for a few minutes.
  • Once it becomes liquid, pour it into an empty glass.
  • Add some lemon and salt.
  • It is ready to drink.

Why only boiled beetroot and carrot?

It is easy to digest. Many people with low Hb, fatigue, massive hair loss, skin problems and low immunity have poor intestinal health and raw vegetable juices may be too heavy for them to digest. That's why boiled vegetables are more effective than raw ones.

Caution

  • For people who have arthritis (joint pain), do not mix amla and lemon in the juice.
