3. Sitting in the sun daily for some time in winter is beneficial. According to different research, one must sit in the sun daily for 15 to 20 minutes. Elderly people should also enjoy the winter sun so that the body can get the necessary vitamins.
4. Consuming foods like Kadha, Chyawanprash etc. in the cold season will keep the body warm. The elderly and children can be protected from the cold by drinking two to three dates in hot milk before going to bed at night.
