Ways to avoid napping after lunch
- Do not sit down to work immediately after eating food. After eating food, walk at a fast pace. You can climb the stairs. This will help in increasing the oxygen level in the blood which will boost your energy levels.
- After eating food you can listen to your favourite music. This will distract you and you will not be able to sleep.
- One should avoid eating too much at lunch. Apart from this, include fruits in your diet. This increases energy and prevents sleep.
- If you feel sleepy after lunch then you should fix your night sleeping time. Many times we sleep late at night and we feel sleepy during the day.
- Try to keep yourself hydrated. Lack of water in the body also causes fatigue and lack of energy. For this, drink water before lunch and also drink water sometime after lunch.
- Avoid eating processed food or too much sweets in lunch, processed foods get digested very quickly, due to which blood sugar spikes and energy starts decreasing.
