What is this new feature?
Android users have been getting the option to share files through the document option for a long time. Android users are able to send photos and videos in original quality through this feature. Document sharing option is also available in the iOS version of WhatsApp. However, this was limited to files only. Now WhatsApp has added a dedicated Choose Photo or Video option within documents.
Use it like this
To use this feature, first of all, you have to update WhatsApp from the Apple App Store. After this, you will have to open the app go to any chat window, and then tap on the + icon from the bottom left. After this, you have to select the document option and then tap on the Choose Photo or Video option. After this, you have to select the photo or video which you want to send. The size limit for this has been kept at 2GB.
