WhatsApp has released a big update for its users. WhatsApp users will now be able to pin any chat message. The new update is for both group and private chats, that is, you will be able to pin any specific message in a group or a private chat. This new update of WhatsApp has been released for both iOS and Android.
The big advantage of this update of WhatsApp will be that it will not take time to search for any special or important message. Regarding this new update, WhatsApp has said that any chat message can be pinned for a maximum of 30 days.
By default, the time for pinning a message will be 7 days and the minimum time a chat can be pinned is 24 hours. WhatsApp has clearly said that users will be able to pin any message, poll, emoji, etc. of any chat.
How to pin a message in WhatsApp?
Select the message you want to pin in a private or group chat.
You can select the message by pressing for a while.
Now you will see many options at the bottom, out of which click on the last option i.e. More.
Now another menu will open, Pin will be written at the top.
Click on Pin. Now the message you have selected will be pinned and will appear at the top.
There are some conditions regarding pin messages in the group, that is, in the group chat, the administrator will decide which member will be able to pin a message or not. Admin can make settings in the group regarding pin chat, after which only the admin or any member will be able to pin the chat.
