If you use WhatsApp then there is good news for you. A recent online report has revealed that WhatsApp is working on the ability to share screens during video calls.

Now WABetaInfo has revealed that the popular messaging app is rolling out a feature to add a profile icon to group chats for some beta testers. With this feature, profile icons will appear within group chats, making it easier for users to differentiate from other group members. Let us tell you about this special feature in detail.

Profile Icon Feature will work like this
The profile icon feature will be helpful in situations where group members share their names or don't set a profile picture. In such cases, if a group member has not uploaded a profile photo or has chosen to hide it, WhatsApp will display a default blank profile picture.

The default profile picture will be a color that matches the name of the contact. The feature is available for Android beta testers and is expected to roll out to all Android WhatsApp users soon.

WhatsApp Business users will get new features
WhatsApp has started testing a new feature called Status Archive within the WhatsApp Business app. As per reports, Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, will be rolling out the availability of this feature to more beta users in the coming weeks.

After the arrival of the new feature, users will be displayed with a notification banner in the status tab. Their status updates will automatically be stored on their device for 24 hours after they are posted.
