A major update is coming to Meta-owned instant multimedia messaging app WhatsApp. Till now you share photos and videos with people in HD (High Definition) but soon you will be able to share status in HD.

According to the report, WhatsApp is testing this new feature on the beta version. This feature can be seen on WhatsApp Android beta version 2.23.26.3. If you are also a beta user then you can download the new update from Google Play Store.

WABetaInfo has given information about this new feature of WhatsApp. The report says that after the new update, users will be able to upload HD photos and videos in status also. A screenshot of the new update has also surfaced. After the new update, users will be able to upload photos and videos with 720 pixel resolution in their status. At present it is limited to 480 pixels.

Let us tell you that WhatsApp is working on another new feature, after which users will be able to listen to music during video calls. This new feature has been seen on iOS beta version 23.25.10.72 of WhatsApp. Currently this feature is in testing mode. After the introduction of this feature, iPhone users will also be able to share screen and audio music during video calls.
