WhatsApp DP Screenshot: An important privacy feature has started coming to WhatsApp, for which many users have been waiting for the last several years.

WhatsApp: WhatsApp keeps introducing new features in its app every day so that it always keeps its users attracted towards this popular app. One of the main reasons why WhatsApp is so popular around the world is the many privacy features available to users.

WhatsApp takes great care of the privacy of its users and keeps introducing new features to strengthen and improve it. To improve the privacy of users, WhatsApp has planned to include another new feature in the app, through which screenshots of users' profile pictures will be blocked.

A new feature of WhatsApp

This means that no user will be able to take a screenshot of your WhatsApp DP. WhatsApp released the beta version of this feature only last month, but now the company has gradually started rolling out this new feature for common users.

According to the report of WabetaInfo, WhatsApp has been testing this feature since February, but now the company has started updating it on the phones of all users. Let us tell you that this is a server-side update, and it is gradually being released to users around the world.

Screenshot blocked

Due to this new update of WhatsApp, no one will be able to take screenshots of users' profile pictures. Now if users take a screenshot of a friend's profile picture, a black screen screenshot will be saved in their phone. During testing of this feature, when a user tried to take a screenshot of the profile picture, he saw a warning, in which it was written that due to app restrictions, you cannot take a screenshot. This feature will be activated by default and there is no way to turn it off. However, no warning appears in the stable version of this feature, rather a black image is saved in the phone when a screenshot is taken.

Let us tell you that earlier WhatsApp used to allow users to save the profile pictures of the users in their contacts, which was a serious violation of privacy. The Meta-owned platform reconsidered and stopped providing the option to save the profile picture, but users could still take screenshots of the profile pictures, due to which this privacy plan WhatsApp was failing. Now this objective of WhatsApp will be successful.
