What your face reveals about your health: The face gives indications of diseases developing in the body

  • Skin tags seen around the neck or face are caused by insulin resistance.
  • Swelling under the eyes also indicates many diseases. The reason behind this could be fluid retention in the body or hormonal imbalance. Swelling under the eyes can also occur due to liver-related problems.

  • Many times, due to lack of sleep, dark circles appear under the eyes. But if we talk about health, then it is a sign of iron deficiency in the body. Do not ignore it and include iron-rich foods in your diet. Actually, due to iron deficiency, blood circulation is affected and oxygen is not able to reach the skin.
  • If your skin remains very dry, the reason behind this may be a lack of healthy fats in the body. Due to a lack of healthy fats, our skin starts getting dehydrated from the inside and looks dry.
  • Eyebrow hair becoming lighter than normal indicates fluctuations in thyroid levels.
  • Skin pigmentation i.e. freckles means that there is a deficiency of Vitamin B12 in your body.
  • Unwanted hair on the face of women indicates hormonal imbalance and PCOD. This happens due to the increase in male hormones in the body.
