Have a Protein-Rich Breakfast

In PCOD, it becomes difficult to lose weight due to insulin resistance. Due to insulin resistance, not only does weight increase, but fat also starts accumulating around the stomach. Protein-rich breakfast increases insulin sensitivity and reduces weight easily.

Walk after every mile

Walk after every mile in PCOD. When you sit in one place and do not walk after eating food, it causes a sharp spike in blood sugar levels. Therefore, walk for 10 minutes after eating anything. This prevents blood sugar levels from spiking and improves insulin sensitivity.

Balance the meal

Balancing meals is very important in PCOD. When all the nutrients and food groups are present in the food, it provides essential nutrition to the body and also maintains hormonal imbalance. Include protein in one-fourth portion of your meal, carbs in one-fourth portion and vegetables in the remaining portion. This is the right diet to lose weight in PCOD.

Do breathing exercises

Breathing exercises are important to reduce the stress hormone cortisol in PCOD. Take a deep breath in for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds and then exhale for 4 seconds. You have to do this 3 times. This reduces the level of stress and cortisol hormones.
