Makhana 1 cup
Green peas 1 cup
Onion 1 (medium size)
Tomato 3 (medium size)
Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder half tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Cream 2 tbsp


Water 1 cup
Ghee 1 tbsp (for frying the makhana)
Chopped coriander halved or 1 tbsp
Salt as required

To make Matar Makhana Sabzi, you must first peel the peas.
Then put the pressure cooker peas and steam them till they are fully cooked.
After this, wash the onion and tomato and chop them finely.
Then put chopped tomatoes in a blender and grind them to make a puree.
After this, peel ginger and also make a puree in the mixie.
Then put 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan and heat it.
After this, you put the Makhana in it and fry it till it becomes light brown and take it out on a plate.
Then once more in the same pan add 2 tbsp ghee and heat it.
After this, add finely chopped onion to it and fry it till it becomes golden.
Then add garlic paste and fry it for about 5 minutes.
