The constant use of devices such as cell phones, television, and laptops affects children and youth. His eyes are getting old. Repeated exposure to screens causes myopia, hypermetropia, and astigmatism. This problem is increasing worldwide with continuous impact.

The Ophthalmology Department of GSVM Medical College, Kanpur examined 27,190 OPD patients between November 2022 and May 2023. Out of these, 7,808 i.e. 26 percent of patients were those whose eyes had become weak earlier. He got glasses immediately. Before the Corona period, this value was 13 percent. Doctors screened children ages 11 to 18 and young adults ages 18 to 40 with eye disease.
It has been found that not only children but also teenagers are exposed to cellphones, laptops, or computer screens for 7 to 13 hours a day. It takes only one to three hours to absorb sunlight due to solar radiation, whereas earlier it took at least 6-7 hours.
