The month of Kartik is of great importance in Sanatan Dharma. Many such festivals come in this month, which people wait for throughout the year. From Diwali to Chhath Puja, the excitement of Kartik month is seen. At the end of this month, the day of Tulsi Vivah also comes on Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha. Tulsi Vivah is performed on the day of Devotthan Ekadashi.

It is believed that those who perform Tulsi Vivah get the same result as Kanyadan. This is the reason why people get Tulsi and Shaligram ji married. Special bhog prasad is also made in this marriage. Most people keep fast on the day of Ekadashi. In such a situation, you can also make khoya or mawa peda and offer it. Here we are going to tell you the easy method of making Falahari Mawa Peda, which you can prepare in a few minutes.

Ingredients for making pedas

1. Mawa (khoya) - 250 grams

2. Powdered sugar - 100 grams

3. Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

4. Saffron - a few strands

5. Ghee - 1 teaspoon

Method

To make pedas, first of all put mawa in a heavy bottom pan and start roasting it on low flame. Roast this mawa till its color becomes light golden. Keep in mind that the gas should be very low during this time. When the mawa is roasted, take it out in a plate and keep it to cool.

When the mawa cools down a bit, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it. Along with this, soak the saffron strands in lukewarm milk and mix it in the mawa so that its color becomes good.

Now knead this mixture well so that it becomes uniform. After this, take a little mixture in the hand and make round or oval shaped pedas. If you want, you can also give them designs by pressing them with your hands. Peda is ready. Now offer it as Prasad.
