Veg Momo Recipe: Generally all purpose flour is used to make momos. Flour looks delicious to eat but it is not good for health. In such a situation, today we will tell you an easy recipe for making veg momos made from semolina. You can make and eat veg momos at any time of the day. With the help of this recipe, you can prepare tasty veg momos without all-purpose flour and steamer.
How to make Veg Momos
Put 1 cup semolina and 1 tsp salt in a blender and grind them well to make a smooth powder.
Now put the ground semolina in a bowl and knead a soft dough by adding water little by little. After this apply some oil to the dough, cover it, and keep it aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
Now start the process of preparing the stuffing. For this, put 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and heat it. After this add 1 tsp grated, 1 tbsp garlic, and 1 tbsp chopped green chilies and fry them on high flame.
After roasting for some time, add half a cup of chopped carrot, 1 cup of cabbage, and 1 cup of finely chopped onion to this mixture and mix everything well and fry on high flame.
Now add 1 tsp black pepper powder and salt as per taste and mix it. After roasting for some time, keep the stuffing aside.
Now put water in a pan and heat it. Place a sieve over the pan and grease it with oil.
Now take a small portion of the dough and roll it. Now with the help of a spoon put the stuffing in the center and close it to seal it. After this, stick the edges of the momo together.
After preparing momos, place them on a sieve and steam for 10 to 15 minutes. Tasty and healthy momos are ready. Serve them with chutney or tomato sauce.
