The month of Vaishakh is considered the best among all other months. Parashurama, Narasimha, Kurma, Varaha and Buddha avatars of Lord Vishnu are worshipped in this month. Chant the mantra 'Om Madhavaya Namah' 11 times daily. By doing this, all the troubles coming on the family are destroyed.
Donating water, mango, jaggery, sattu and sesame in the month of Vaishakh removes Pitra Dosh. All sins are destroyed. One gets the boon of health.
This month, the day of Akshaya Tritiya is auspicious for auspicious work and shopping for auspicious things. It is said that one who buys gold, silver, vehicles, land, etc. on this day, those things increase and there is prosperity in the house. Mother Lakshmi is happy. Marriage, engagement, and housewarming on this day bring success in it.
In the month of Vaishakh, the arrangement of food and water for animals and birds, umbrellas for the needy, fan to the person suffering from the heat, donations of shoes and slippers, and service to a shady tree should be done. It is believed that by doing ten thousand Rajasuya Yagya, one gets the same result.
