Whenever you are ill, the doctor gives you some medicine or he prescribes the medicine to you, and then you buy that medicine from the chemist's shop. But here you must have noticed at one time or the other that you would have to take the full leaf of a medicine. Actually, many medicines are such that the chemist tells the customer to take the full leaf by saying that this medicine cannot be found. Not only this, chemists give many other reasons, such as no one else will buy the cut medicine, even if the cut medicine does not have an expiry date, no one will buy it, etc. But now this will not happen because the government has made up its mind about this. So let's know what steps the government is taking so that people will not have to buy the full leaf of the medicine. You can learn about this in the next slides...

What is the matter?
In fact, shopkeepers ask people to buy the full leaf of many medicines. Even if the customer needs one or two medicines, he has to buy the whole leaf. The Ministry received many complaints regarding this, after which it has now been taken into consideration and these suggestions are being considered.

This proposal has been made
At the same time, a notification was issued by the Ministry, in which it was informed that a proposal has been made that now there will be a ban on buying non-essential medicines. Apart from this, now every tablet will have other important information like the date of preparation, and expiry. At present, this information is on the entire leaf. There may be a slight impact on the cost if this system is implemented, but it will provide convenience.

These suggestions are given
The industry has been advised by the government to use perforated packing, which will make it easier to sell the required amount of medicine.
It has been advised that companies should put a QR code on each part of the medicine leaf, so that complete information on each tablet can be found.
It is being said possible to discuss this soon with the pharmaceutical companies, Health Ministry, DCGI, etc.
