Know your eligibility first
If we talk about eligibility, then those people can apply for this scheme who come from the poor and middle class, if their annual income is less than one or one and a half lakh rupees, if they do not have a government job, if they are taxpayers. There are no etc.

This is the method of application:-
Step 1
If you are eligible for the scheme, then first of all you have to go to the official portal of the scheme solarrooftop.gov.in.
Here you have to click on Apply and then select your state.
Then select your district and enter your house electricity bill number here

Step 2
After this, give the details of your electricity expenditure and other required information here.
Now you have to fill in the solar panel information
Then you have to tell the length and width of your roof i.e. you have to give complete information about the roof.

Step 3
After this select solar panel and apply
Then the subsidy received under the scheme is sent to your bank account.
