Every day, Indian trains carry a large number of passengers from one place to another, that is, they take them to their destination. You have to book a ticket to travel by train. If you are caught traveling in a train without a ticket, appropriate action can be taken against you. Therefore, one should always travel with a ticket. TTE checks the tickets of the passengers on the train, but can the Railway Police also check the tickets of the passengers? What are the rules regarding this, let us know this time. You can know about it in the next slides...

What are the rules?
Actually, according to the railway rules, only TTE can check the tickets of passengers. Railway Police do not have the right to check the tickets of passengers. Still, if any RPF officer checks your ticket, you can complain against him.

If any railway police officer asks you to show your ticket and threatens you for this, you can inform the TTE or railway officer. In such a situation, action can be taken against that officer.

Who can impose a fine?
You must have known that the Railway Police has no authority to check your ticket. Similarly, these officers cannot impose any fine on passengers for not having tickets. This work is done by TTE and only he can impose a fine on the passenger.

For example, if you are found traveling on a train without a ticket, then in such a situation TTE imposes a fine on you. During this time, do not forget to take the fine slip from TTE.
