In the digital age, every second internet user prefers to make payments through smartphones. Making payments through UPI apps is very easy. Payment is done as soon as the app is opened on the phone and the QR code is scanned. However, a UPI PIN is also required for online payment. For online payment, the user must remember his UPI PIN correctly. If this is not done, then the payment cannot be proceeded further. Do you know that the wrong UPI PIN cannot be entered repeatedly? A limit has been set for entering the wrong UPI PIN. After this limit is over, your bank blocks UPI payments.
What happens when UPI payments are blocked
Blocking UPI payments means that you will not be able to make UPI payments through any app. However, this is a temporary block due to repeated entry of the wrong UPI PIN by the bank.
How many times can you enter the wrong UPI PIN?
Regarding entering the wrong UPI PIN, Google Pay says that a user can enter the wrong UPI PIN only three times. If the UPI PIN is entered more than three times, the UPI payment is blocked for the next 24 hours. That is, the smartphone user will be able to make payment by entering the correct UPI PIN only after exactly 24 hours.
What to do if you don't remember the UPI PIN?
Smartphone users are advised that if they forget their UPI PIN, they should avoid entering the wrong PIN again and again. Instead of entering the wrong PIN, it is better to go to the reset PIN option. Reset PIN will mean that you will have to share the details of your debit/ATM card once again. Only after this, you will be able to set a new PIN.
