What is Android Unknown Tracker Alert feature?
This is a new service of the Android operating system which is based on Android 6.0 and above. This feature allows a smartphone to determine whether an unknown Bluetooth tracker has been installed on the smartphone. It has been introduced keeping in mind the privacy and security of the users. Through this, users will be able to identify, locate and disable unknown Bluetooth trackers.

How does this work
The Unknown Tracker Alert feature will automatically notify Android users if there is an unknown tracker on their device. This feature works with many other trackers, including Apple AirTags, which are compatible with the Google Find My Device network.

Apart from this, Android users can also scan manually through which Bluetooth trackers can be detected. For this, you have to go to the Settings of the phone and go to the Safety and Emergency option.

Users will be able to see the device on the map. From here it will be known where the devices are and will help in locating them. Along with this, sound can also be played through the tracker. Apart from locating the device, this feature will also allow users to physically disable the tracker.
