Triphala is made by combining three Ayurvedic herbs Amla, Harad, and Baheda. Many healing properties are found in this mixture. Triphala should not be consumed during pregnancy because its effect is hot and there is a risk of miscarriage by consuming hot food. Apart from this, lactating women should avoid taking Triphala. This can cause diarrhea in your child.
Consumption of Triphala Churna is considered beneficial for all stomach problems. Consuming it can cause stomach upset. Due to its hot effect, it can increase heartburn. If you have difficulty walking, then you should not take Triphala or drink it in limited quantities.
