You can get free treatment up to this much every year
Actually, after getting the Ayushman card, you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year. This facility is given to you by the central government, the entire cost of which is borne by the government and the patient does not have to pay for his treatment.
This is how you can get free treatment:-
Step 1
If you also have an Ayushman card, then you can get treatment up to Rs 5 lakh
What you have to do is that first of all, you have to go to the hospital which is registered under Ayushman Yojana
Just make sure to take your Ayushman card with you.
Step 2
You have to go to the hospital registered in Ayushman Yojana and visit the Mitra Help Desk here
You have to go to this desk and meet the concerned officer and tell them that you are an Ayushman cardholder
Step 3
Now give your Ayushman card to the concerned officer at the help desk
Then this card is checked
Now when everything is found to be fine, you are provided with a free treatment facility whose entire expense is borne by the government.
