Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a great tour package to visit South India in December. Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train offers 11-night and 12-day tours. Bookings for this package have started and you can plan a trip to South India during the winter holidays. The journey will start on December 11, 2023, from Malda Town and you can visit till December 22, 2023.
Places to visit:
Under this South India tour package, you can visit Kanyakumari, Kudalnagar, Mallikarjuna, Rameshwaram, Renigunta Junction, and Thiruvananthapuram. In these cities, you can explore destinations like Tirupati Balaji Temple, Meenakshi Amman Temple, Ramanathaswamy Temple, Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock, Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple. Tour packages include train travel, bus transfers, meals, guides, insurance, and more.
Cost per person:
The starting cost per person for booking in economy class is Rs 22,750. Additionally, packages are available for Rs 36,100 for the Standard class and Rs 39,500 for the Comfort class. You can board and deboard the train at the stations. You can choose the station based on your booking preferences.
