Lord Shiva is considered to have deep faith in Sanatan Dharma. There are many big temples in Rameshwaram from Kedarnath in Uttarakhand to Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga. Devotees from all over the country come here to worship Lord Shiva and seek his blessings, but do you know that both these Jyotirlingas are on the longitude line? There are 5 more Shiva temples between these two Jyotirlingas which according to beliefs represent the five elements of creation i.e. water, air, fire, sky, and earth.
How the seven temples are tied in one thread
Kedarnath, Arunachaleshwar, Thillai Nataraja, Jambukeswarar, Ekambaeshwarnath in Tamil Nadu, Srikalahasti Shiva temple in Andhra Pradesh and finally Rameswaram temple are set in a straight line. All these temples are built in a geographically straight line of 79-degree longitude. This line is also known as 'Shiv Shakti Rekha'. This line connects north to south. Tell that all these temples were built about 4000 years ago when science was not developed at that time, but still, all these temples were built based on compound calculation. Where there is Kedarnath Dham at one end of this line, there is Rameshwaram Jyotirlinga in the south. Even science does not have an answer as to why this is so.
Kedarnath Dham Temple is situated at 79.0669-degree longitude. This temple is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It is also called Ardhjyotirlinga. The temple is said to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata period and later renovated by Adi Shankaracharya.

Jambukeswarar Temple
This temple is about 1800 years old. A stream of water always flows in its sanctum sanctorum (where the Shivling is kept).
