Due to this, everyday work is difficult also. In this problem, there is nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light. Many times this pain starts troubling as soon as you wake up in the morning. According to yoga experts, you can do Akash Mudra, Vayu Apana Mudra and Mahashirsha Mudra to relieve migraine pain. By doing these postures, energy goes throughout the body which makes you feel happy and calm. Let us know how to do these postures.

Akash Mudra

  • To do Akash Mudra, first of all, sit in Padmasana in a calm environment.
  • While breathing, place both your hands on your knees
  • Now join the big finger of your hands with the thumb and keep the rest of the fingers straight.
  • Sit in this position with your eyes closed and concentrate on your breathing for at least 3 to 4 minutes.
  • You can do this mudra whenever you are troubled by migraine pain.

Vayu Apan Mudra

  • To do this posture, first of all, sit in Sukhasana in a calm environment.
  • Taking a deep breath, place the palms on both the knees.
  • Now bend the first finger of the hand and place it on the lower part of the thumb.
  • Now place the middle finger and ring finger on the tip of the thumb.
  • Keep the smallest finger extended outwards.
  • During this posture, close your eyes take deep breaths and concentrate completely on your breathing.
  • Doing this mudra can provide relief from headaches.

Mahashirsha Mudra

  • To do this posture, first of all, sit comfortably in Sukhasana in a calm environment.
  • Leave your shoulders loose.
  • Now lift the thumb, middle finger and first finger of both hands together.
  • Place the finger next to the little finger on the palm.
  • During this, take deep breaths and keep exhaling.
  • Practising this posture can give you relief from migraine pain.
