You must have noticed many times that you cut your expenses a lot every month, but still, by the end of the month, the money runs out and savings are not possible. Keeping in view the emergency needs of the family and the future, women need to save.

If you want to know the right way to plan a budget for your home. So let us know in this article from Rahul Srivastava, branch head of ICFAI Business School, about the method of making a budget.

1. Know the expenses

If you are making a budget for your home, then first of all you should make a list of your big and important expenses while making the budget. For example, you should write in one place about the expenses like house rent, electricity bill, children's school fees and household ration etc.

If you make a list of them in one place, then you will know every month which expenses you have to take care of every month. Along with this, you should also keep in mind how you can make small savings. With this you will have good savings and the budget will become strong.

2. Create Smart Goals

If you are planning a trip or if there is a wedding in the house, then you should plan for it in advance. This will not make much difference to your monthly budget. You should make smart goals keeping your budget in mind.

In this, you can include your car loan, investment for your daughter's marriage, buying property etc. You can also track these smart goals with the help of an app.

3. Know the regular expenses

You have to understand your regular expenses properly. For example, if you go to the office daily by auto or bus, then calculate the cost of transport by including it in it. You should write down your regular expenses in a diary.

After studying all the expenses for four to five months, it will be clear to you that which expenses are necessary and which are expenses which can be controlled. Along with this, you will also be able to control these expenses and calculate them.
