What is e-Aadhaar and its benefits?

This is how you can download an e-Aadhaar card:-
Step 1
If you also want to download your e-Aadhaar card, then for this you first have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricDownloadAadhaar/en.
After this, you will see here that you will see three options here - 'Aadhaar Number' 'Enrolment ID Number' 'Virtual ID Number'
In such a situation, you have to click on 'Aadhaar Number'
Step 2
After clicking on the Aadhaar number, you have to fill in your Aadhaar number here.
Now if you look, you will see the captcha code on the screen, enter it here.
After this, you have to click on the 'Send OTP' button
Now an OTP will come to your registered mobile number
Step 3
Enter the OTP that has come on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar here
Then you have to click on the 'Verify and Download' button
As soon as you do this, your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded
Please note that it has a password that consists of the first four letters of your name and the year of your birth date e.g. if the name is NEERAJ and the date of birth is 05.04.1983 then the password will be NEER1983
