'Anmol', a buffalo worth ₹23 crores, is the centre of attraction at an exhibition in Meerut. Its price is equal to two Rolls Royce and 15 Mercedes cars. Anmol's special diet and the huge demand for his semen are the reason for its price.
A three-day All India Farmers Exhibition and Agro Industry Exhibition has been organized at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University, Meerut. In this exhibition, a buffalo named 'Anmol' from Sirsa, Haryana caught everyone's attention. Its price is more than 2 Rolls Royce cars and 10 Mercedes cars, this is the reason for its discussion.
India's most expensive buffalo
With the price of this buffalo, one can easily buy 20 luxurious houses in a big city like Noida. Spectators are coming from different districts to see this expensive buffalo and its price has surprised many people.
The price of Anmol is Rs 23 crore. In this price, about 15 Mercedes Benz cars worth Rs 1.5 crore or 2 Rolls Royce cars worth Rs 12 crore can be bought. In this way, Anmol has earned the title of being India's most expensive buffalo.
Anmol's special diet
Anmol's owner Jagat Singh said that he has won many awards in the last 8 years. He is fed 5 kg milk, 4 kg juicy pomegranates, 30 bananas, 20 protein-rich eggs, a quarter kg almonds, Gulkand and fodder daily. Anmol takes bath twice a day and is massaged with mustard and almond oil.
There is huge demand for Anmol's semen
The semen of Anmol buffalo is worth Rs 4-5 lakh per month and a group from Sirsa regularly collects and sells its semen. Anmol belongs to the Murrah breed and its semen is considered rare. The owner of the buffalo spends Rs 60,000 every month on its food, but earns Rs 4-5 lakh every month by selling its semen.
Another buffalo attracting attention
In this exhibition, twin buffaloes named Lakshmi and Rani also attracted people's attention. These buffaloes give 30 liters of milk daily.
Crowd gathered to see Anmol
Hundreds of visitors from different places are coming to the exhibition to see Anmol. Many people expressed their happiness by taking selfies with the award-winning buffalo. Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and State Minister Baldev Aulakh inaugurated the event.
