The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the date of submission of examination forms for CBSE Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2024 tomorrow i.e. on 12th October 2023. The date for submission of the examination form has been extended for private candidates.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the exam form submission deadline for the 2024 CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. As per the announcement made on October 12, 2023, private candidates can now submit their examination forms by October 18, 2023. Candidates can fill out the CBSE exam form and make the required fee along with payment on the official website cbse.gov.in.

Who can fill out the form?

Candidates who missed the initial deadline will have to submit their forms with late fees. These candidates can submit their forms from October 19 to October 25, 2023, with late fees. According to an official notice released on September 5, 2023, students who failed the examinations were held in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Also, those students of 2023 who want to improve their performance or want to appear in one or more examinations, who have compartment status, or students who have previously qualified for compartment examination can fill out this form.

What is the registration fee?

Private candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,500 to appear for the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams. Candidates from Nepal will also have to pay the same amount. However, candidates from other countries will have to pay Rs 10,000. Applicants from India will have to pay an additional Rs 300 per additional subject, while candidates from Nepal and other countries will have to pay Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively per additional subject.

The fee structure for additional subjects is the same as for compartment exams. For both Indian and Nepali candidates, a practical exam fee of Rs 150 per subject will be required.
