Open your PDF, and double-click on Preview. If you have a different application to view the default document, you can right-click on the file, click the "Open with" button from the drop-down menu and choose the Preview application.
Next, click the "Markup" icon, which is located in the toolbar at the top of your screen. You'll find this icon, which looks like a marker, next to the search bar.
Scroll through your PDF to find the page you want to type on and click the "Text" icon, which looks like a big "T." You'll find this button at the top of your screen.
Click on the text box on your PDF and type your message.
Use your cursor to drag and drop the text box to the area you need.
If you want to change the color or font of the text, click on the box again. Then highlight the text with your cursor and click the "AA" button at the top of your screen.
Click on the style elements you want to use to reposition your text.

If you have an Android mobile device, you can add text to a PDF on your phone by downloading the free Adobe Acrobat Reader app. Below are some steps you can follow to type a PDF using the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app:
Download and save a PDF on your mobile device.
Then open the Adobe Acrobat Reader app and click the "Files" button at the bottom of the screen.
Find the PDF you want to edit and click on it.
To edit a PDF, scroll down and find the page you want to edit.
Click the pencil icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
