September 5 is celebrated as Teachers' Day in India. On this day, teachers of the country are honored. This day also started in honor of a teacher, whose name is Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Teachers' Day started being celebrated on his birthday. At the same time, as soon as women teachers are mentioned, the name of Jyotiba Bai Phule comes to mind first.

The names of these best teachers of India are recorded in history, but even at present, many women teachers are doing commendable work for the education of children. Geetika Joshi
Geetika Joshi, working as Block Education Officer and Principal in Nainital, has been working as a teacher for almost 10 years. In 2014, Geetika was selected for the Uttarakhand PCS examination. She was appointed as Deputy Education Officer in the Education Department. During this time, she saw many children going through extremely difficult circumstances.

A class 9 student, whose father used to run the house by driving a buggy, became bedridden due to a spinal injury and it became difficult to manage the household expenses. Even one meal could not be cooked in her house. The other three siblings of the student used to eat food in the school's mid-day meal but she did not get food as she was in class 9.

Teacher Geetika started bringing tiffin from home for the students. She started paying the girl's school fees. This also brought progress in the student's studies. The same student has become self-reliant today by passing the first division in high school and intermediate. Not only for children, she also started a school transformation program to protect the dilapidated conditions of government primary schools from cold and rain.

Seema Bharti Jha
Assistant Professor of Delhi University, Seema Bharti Jha started teaching as a teacher in 2015. Once two students from the college went to her and told her that they had a lot of trouble bearing the expenses of living, food, and studies here. Professor Seema was worried that if they were not helped, they would not be able to complete their studies. In such a situation, Seema bore the expenses of those children's studies till the completion of the course.

After this, she realized that many children are troubled by the same situation. Professor Seema joined some other people with her who could help the financially weak students.

Shipra Gombar
Shipra Gombar, a teacher at a school in Delhi, was earlier teaching in Sonipat. The financial condition of the family of a 12th-class student at her school was not good. In such a situation, she was facing difficulty in continuing her studies smoothly. Shipra ma'am paid the fees of the student so that there would be no hindrance in her studies. In the 12th board exam results, the student had passed Economics with 100% marks. As a result, she was admitted to the Economics Honours course at Delhi University.

Pushpa Kushwaha
Pushpa Kushwaha, a teacher of Samman (Integrated Institute for Disabled) of Chandauli, has been a teacher of special children for the last 11 years. Special children are rich in talent and she guides them properly so that they can be successful. Khushi, a student of class 10, was hearing impaired, and whose parents did not want to educate her further. When the girl told Pushpa ma'am about her problem, she counseled her parents, after which Khushi's parents agreed. Khushi continued her studies and also got first place in the state-level race.

Dr. Mithilesh Bhadoria
Dr. Mithilesh Bhadoria is the former Principal of Arya Putri Inter College, Bareilly. While working at Guru Nanak Khalsa Inter College, she helped a class 9 student whose family's financial condition was not good. Madam Bhadoria explained to the child and supported him. She advised him not to worry about the fees. Later, the student passed with good marks and wants to become an Agniveer so that he can serve the country.
