The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana.
The Government of India started this scheme on 17 September 2023.
18 traditional businesses have been included in this scheme, to which there is a provision to provide various types of economic benefits.

Who is eligible?

Those who are locksmiths, barbers, garland makers, washermen, stone carvers, fishing net makers, and basket/mat/broom makers

Stone breakers, cobblers/shoe makers, tailors, doll and toy makers, hammer and toolkit makers, masons, boat makers, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, gunsmiths, sculptors, etc.

The method of application is:-
Those who are eligible for the scheme have to first visit their nearest CSC center.
After going there, you have to proceed with the application process through the concerned officer, in which your documents and eligibility are checked.
Then if everything is found correct, your application is made.
