Suji Halwa Recipe: Not many ingredients are required to make semolina halwa. For this only semolina and desi ghee are used. Dry fruits can be added to enhance the taste of halwa. If you have never made semolina halwa, then you can prepare it very easily with the help of the method given by us.

Ingredients to make Semolina Halwa
Semolina (Rava) – 1 bowl
Cardamom powder – 3/4 tsp
Chopped almonds – 7-8
Raisins – 10-12
Desi ghee – 1 tablespoon
Sugar – 1 cup
Salt – 1 pinch

Recipe to make Semolina Halwa
To make delicious semolina pudding, first heat a pan on medium flame, add semolina to it, and cook while stirring. Semolina has to be roasted until its color becomes golden brown. After this, take out the semolina in a bowl. Now add desi ghee to the pan and heat it. When the ghee melts, first add crushed cardamom and then after a few seconds add roasted semolina and mix it well with the ghee.

Now cook the semolina for one to two minutes while stirring with a ladle, after this add about 2 glasses of water in the pan and let the semolina cook while stirring. After some time, add sugar to semolina and mix properly. Now cook the halwa while stirring until it becomes thick. After this, mix finely chopped almonds and raisins in the halwa. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on top of it.

Adding a pinch of salt to semolina halwa further enhances its taste. Now cook semolina halwa for at least 8-10 minutes. When the color of the halwa turns golden brown and a pleasant aroma starts coming from it, turn off the gas. Keep in mind that while making semolina halwa, you have to keep stirring it, otherwise, the halwa may stick to the pan. After this, take out the halwa in a serving bowl and serve garnished with dry fruits.
