Ingredients
1 kg raw papaya
5 tbsp milk powder
2 bowls sugar
2 tbsp desi ghee
1 tablespoon chopped dry fruits
1 pinch of food color
Recipe
- First of all, take papaya and wash it. Then cut it and grate it well.
- After this, keep a pan on medium flame to heat.
Then add grated papaya to it and fry for some time.
- After this add sugar in it and mix well.
Then cover the pan and cook for about 15-20 minutes.
- After this add desi ghee, milk powder, and dry fruits and mix well.
Then cook it for a while and turn off the gas.
After this, grease a tray or plate thoroughly with desi ghee.
- Then after the mixture cools down slightly, spread it in equal proportions in the tray.
- After this leave it to set for a while.
Then with the help of a knife, cut it into desired shapes and store it in an air-tight container. With this, barfi is ready.
