Also, the production of breast milk starts decreasing. To avoid these problems, you must include these 3 superfoods in your diet after delivery. Maternal and Child Nutritionist DrRamita Kaur is telling about them.

Experts say, “After delivery, it is important to take care of yourself as well as the baby. During the birth of the baby, there is more bleeding from the mother's body and the muscles become weak. Also, nutrients are deficient in the body by breastfeeding the baby. These things cause weakness in the body.

1. Moringa (Drumsticks)

It is rich in vitamins A, B, C, Iron, Calcium, and Protein, which keeps women healthy after delivery. Also, eating it improves breast milk.

Method

  • Add moringa leaves to vegetables and curries.
  • Mix moringa powder in flour and eat it.

2. Fenugreek seeds

Fenugreek seeds present in almost every kitchen not only remove food cravings but are also a panacea for many health-related problems. It increases energy in the new mother and helps in increasing milk production.

Method

  • Soak 1 teaspoon of the seeds in a glass of water.
  • Boil it and drink it the next morning.

3. Cumin seeds

It contains antioxidants and iron, which give energy to the body of women after delivery and reduces inflammation. Also, this seed helps in increasing milk production.

Method

  • Soak one teaspoon of cumin seeds in a glass of water.
  • Boil this water.
  • Drink it after meals.
