The number of people in the country who are financially weak or who are forced to live their lives below the poverty line is still very high. Many non-governmental organizations work to help such people. Apart from this, the state governments and the central government also run many beneficial and welfare schemes. In this sequence, today i.e. on 17 September 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Subhadra Yojana. This scheme has been started for women, that is, only women will be able to take advantage of this scheme, but do you know who those women who will not be able to get this benefit? Know the scheme and benefits.
Subhadra Yojana has been started for women living in Odisha and this scheme will be run by the state government. The benefit of this scheme is to be given to about one crore women and women empowerment is to be promoted.
If we talk about the benefits available under this scheme, then there is a provision to give Rs 10,000 annually to eligible women. Women will be given installments of Rs 5,000 twice a year. At the same time, this scheme will be run from 2024-25 to 2028-29 and in these five years, every woman associated with the scheme will be given Rs 50,000.
Women who will join the Subhadra scheme will also be given a debit card. In such a situation, 100 women out of the women who will do the maximum digital transactions in every Gram Panchayat and urban body will get an additional Rs 500.
Which women will not be able to get the benefit?
Only those women who are eligible can join and benefit from the Subhadra Yojana.
If you are in a government job, then you are not eligible for Subhadra Yojana.
Women who pay tax are also not eligible.
If a woman is taking benefit of Rs 1500 every month under any scheme, then such women are not eligible for the scheme.
Women who are residents of any other state outside Odisha are also not eligible for the scheme.
