In such a situation, if someone's smartphone is stolen, he immediately blocks his SIM, but not everyone knows how to block a mobile phone. In such a situation, today we will tell you that if your smartphone is stolen, then how can you block it sitting at home?
1- First of all, you have to visit the CEIR website.
2- Here you will get three options Block/Lost Mobile, Check Request Status, and Un-Block Found Mobile.
3- After this, to block the stolen mobile, you have to click on the Block/Lost Mobile option.
4- After this, a page will open, in which you will have to enter the correct information on your mobile.
5- As mobile information, you will have to enter mobile number, IMEI number, device brand, company, invoice and bill of phone purchase, and date of phone loss. Apart from this, state, district, area of phone theft, and complaint number will have to be entered.
6- Apart from this, you will also have to upload the police complaint copy. After filling in all the details, it will have to be uploaded to the website.
7- After this, click on Add More Complaint, in which the name, address, Aadhaar card along with PAN card, driving license, and identity of the mobile owner will have to be entered. After this, you will have to enter your mobile number for the last time.
8- Then an OTP will be sent to your number. After this, the verification process will be completed. In this way, by submitting the final, you can block the mobile phone.
Apart from this, you can also block the UPI and account information and services stored in the mobile phone. For this, you have to follow the steps given below.
Call Paytm Bank Helpline number 01204456456. After this, select the Lost Phone option.
Here you will get the option to enter the number of the lost phone.
Then you have to select the Logout from All Devices option.
After this, go to the PayTM website and select the 24×7 Help option.
In this way, you can select the Report a Fraud or Message Us option.
Then you will have to provide some details including the police report. After checking all the details, your Paytm account will be temporarily closed.
