Bad news has come regarding the multi-tasking staff recruitment conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Seats for MTS recruitment have been reduced by SSC. Let us tell you that the candidates who appeared in this examination are waiting for the results. On the other hand, the seats have been reduced by the Commission.

According to the notification issued by SSC, initially, 12523 posts were to be filled through this recruitment. Now 735 seats have been reduced. According to the new notification, a total of 11788 posts will be filled through this recruitment.

Why did SSC MTS Havaldar seats decrease?

The reason for this decision taken by the Staff Selection Commission is not clear. If media reports are to be believed, the number of candidates appearing in this examination was very low. More than 51000 candidates left the exam on the very first day. It is for this reason that seats have been reduced.

Lakhs of candidates had registered for the SSC MTS exam. Through this vacancy, recruitment was to be done for both the posts of MTS and Havildar. The number of candidates who applied for this vacancy was 55.21 lakh. Thousands of students left the examination to apply for it.
