Open the WhatsApp app.
Now click on the three dots appearing at the top.
Now go to Settings.
Now click on Chats and select Media Visibility.
Now turn off Media Visibility.
This setting is for Android phones.
If you have iPhone, then go to the settings of WhatsApp and turn off Save to Camera Roll.
If you do not want to automatically download photos and videos sent by a particular person or group, then open WhatsApp and go to that chat. Now click on View Contact/Group Info. After this turn off Media Visibility.
