How to block UPI ID
It is very important to block the UPI ID in case the smartphone is lost. If you do not do this, then any unknown person can cheat you. Apps like PhonePe, Paytm, and Google Pay are associated with UPI ID. Log in to your UPI app on another device or access your UPI account through your bank's net banking portal.

Search your UPI ID - This is usually found under the profile or payment settings.

Block or deactivate UPI ID - Most apps provide the option to block or deactivate the UPI ID associated with your lost phone. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Unlink bank accounts- Apart from this, unlink the UPI app from your bank account.

Report lost phone- Contact your mobile network operator to block your SIM card.

Change passwords- Change the passwords of online banking, email, and other important accounts immediately.

Two-factor authentication- Enable two-factor authentication for additional security. So that, the risk of any security and privacy breach is reduced.
