Actually Beta-carotene is found in good quantity in sweet potato, which gets converted into Vitamin A after entering the body. At the same time, Vitamin A proves to be very helpful in keeping the skin healthy by getting rid of acne and other skin problems.
Let us tell you that retinol is a form of vitamin A which is used for the treatment of pimples. Nowadays, there are hundreds of retinol creams and serums sold in the market that promise to make acne disappear. However, using retinol cream at a young age can be harmful to the skin. In such a situation, to keep the skin healthy, it would be better to take retinol in its original form and for this, consumption of sweet potato proves to be most effective.
Citrus fruit
Citrus fruits like orange, lemon, and seasonal fruits work as lifesavers for the skin. Such fruits are rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants and both these elements are very helpful in keeping the skin healthy from the inside.
