Whenever it comes to skincare, either we move towards chemical treatments or we start praising home remedies. Skin ageing is one such issue which cannot be cured by skin care products alone. Fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging cheeks are very common, but what can be done about this? The biggest reason for ageing on the skin is that the collagen in your body starts decreasing.
This is the reason why anti-ageing cannot be done only by skincare, but for this, you also have to increase the production of collagen in the body. It is very important to take care of internal health. Skin care products can be useful in rejuvenating the skin's collagen that has been broken.
Renowned dermatologist and influencer DrManoj Das has shared information related to this on social media. According to DrManoj, if you want to keep your skin healthy, then there must be omega-3 in the diet. Most people run towards supplements, but eating natural products is very important. Because of this, collagen production increases in the body.
Which Omega-3 is best?
Omega-3 is also of many types and some are fatty acids, while some are nutrients and enzymes. For this, you can consult a doctor. Keeping in mind your health condition, the doctor will tell you the right diet for which type of Omega-3 you have to take and in what quantity.
DIY Tips for Skin Care
Hibiscus powder is most important in the DIY we are talking about here. We already know the many benefits of this ingredient. You can also buy it from the market and make it at home by drying hibiscus flowers.
Ingredients required-
- 1 tsp hibiscus powder
- 1 tsp rice flour
- a little musk turmeric
- 2 tbsp tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon curd
With age, a lot of dead skin cells start accumulating on our skin, which is very important to remove. For this, ingredients like rice flour and musk turmeric can help in improving your skin. Here tomato juice is necessary for giving many essential enzymes to the skin along with Vitamin-C. According to DrManoj, tomatoes contain natural lycopene which is good for skin rejuvenation.
Lactic acid is also very important to make the skin tight, so curd has to be used.
Make this pack and apply it on your skin and leave it for half an hour. If your skin is not sensitive, DrManoj says that about a pinch of black pepper powder can also be added to it, which will bring the papain enzyme to the skin. Keep in mind that it should not be more than a pinch and people with sensitive skin should not use it.
After removing this pack from the skin, you must use a good moisturizer.
You have to understand one thing that home remedies do not work like magic and they take time to show effect. Also, such remedies don't need to suit everyone, so before trying anything on the skin, you must do a patch test.
