Heart-related diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. In recent years, after Corona, the risk of heart disease has increased significantly. Earlier it was called a disease of the elderly but now young people are also falling prey to it. When your heart is unhealthy, your overall health is affected. The body also starts giving many types of signals. But often we ignore those signs considering them minor. Then after some time, the heart becomes completely unhealthy and we have to suffer the consequences of losing our lives. Today we are telling you about some symptoms which indicate an unhealthy heart. Cardiology doctor Ashish Aggarwal of Aakash Healthcare is giving information about this.
Early signs of heart disease
Excessive sweating
If you are sweating without any reason, it could be a sign of heart disease. This happens when your heart has to work very hard to pump blood or is not able to pump blood properly, then due to this, sweating (an easy way to remove sweat) can occur. If you see any such symptoms in yourself, then consult a doctor without any delay.
Swollen ankles
Swelling in feet and ankles can also be a sign of heart disease. This happens when your heart is not able to pump blood properly. When there is difficulty in pumping blood, blood backs up in the veins which causes swelling. If you are also noticing such changes in your feet, then do not ignore it as a foot problem.
Chest pain
Chest pain can also be a sign of heart disease. This mostly happens when there is a blockage in your artery. This could also be a sign of a heart attack. Never ignore this sign by considering it as gas or acidity.
Fainting and dizziness
You should also be alert if you repeatedly feel faint or dizzy or have trouble breathing. Many times this happens due to blockage in the arteries of the heart. This can also happen due to weakness in the heart muscles. It is known as cardiomyopathy.
Pain in arms
If you feel pain in your arms, it can also be a sign of an unhealthy heart. This could be due to angina. Angina is a symptom of coronary heart disease. In this, the heart muscles are not getting enough oxygenated blood.
