In fact, smart watches emit electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation, which is harmful to health both directly and indirectly. Many types of physical and mental problems arise due to the radiation emitted from smart watches.

Harmful to mental health

Nowadays, all types of smart watches have started coming in the market and in order to make the price cheaper, their quality has also started deteriorating. At the same time, the risk of radiation from poor quality smart watches increases even more. The radiation emitted from smartwatches directly affects the nervous system, due to which the risk of memory loss, headache and brain tumor increases. The radiation emitted from smart watches can also increase the problem of migraine.

Anxiety and insomnia problem

While the radiation emitted from smartwatches directly harms your mental health, it also indirectly has a negative impact on the mind and brain. Actually, these electronic devices which measure heartbeat, blood pressure and steps are causing mental stress to the people. Actually, smart watch straps are usually made of rubber cloth or leather and bacteria named Staphylococcus spp are often present in such straps, which causes the risk of staph infection. This type of infection can take the form of boils to serious problems on the body. Therefore, to avoid this, you should clean your smart watch regularly.

For example, you should not wear a smart watch the whole day, use the fitness watch only during work or workout during the day. When you are not using it, you can keep it on airplane mode, so that its wireless connection gets disabled. With this, the effects of radiation can be avoided to a great extent and the damage caused to the smart watch can also be avoided.
