May cause an allergic reaction

Some people may also complain of allergic reactions after consuming sapota. It is possible that after eating it, you may experience mild itching, swelling in the throat and skin rash. Sapota contains chemical compounds like tannin and latex which can trigger allergic reactions. So, if you are allergic to latex, you may be more likely to be allergic to chickpeas as well.

There may be an overdose of potassium

Sapota is rich in potassium. It is an essential mineral for the body. However, when potassium is consumed in excessive amounts, it has negative effects on the body. Especially, if someone has kidney problems, it can be very harmful for them.
