If a person's smartphone is stolen or lost, then he files a complaint with the police, but recently Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has launched the Sanchar Saathi portal through which you can get your stolen or lost smartphone.

Stolen mobile will be able to track

Now using stolen mobile will not be easy. You can block and unblock your lost mobile number through the Sanchar Saathi portal. On this portal, you will easily be able to register a complaint about lost mobile. Along with this, it will also help in tracking the lost phone. The special thing is that on registering information about the stolen mobile on the Sanchar Saathi portal, the mobile operator will get its information. After this, it will be started when the news of getting that mobile is updated. With the help of this portal, you will also know how many SIM cards have been issued on one ID.

How can block the phone?

1) If your mobile is stolen and you want to block it, then you have to go to the website of Sanchar Saathi Portal.

2) In this you have to select Citizen Center Services. Then you will see the option to block your stolen mobile phone. On selecting it, you will have to fill in the information related to the mobile and then also fill in the mobile number and IMEI number.

3) Along with this, you will also have to upload the device model and mobile invoice and then fill in the date, district/city, and time of mobile loss.

4) Then you will also have to upload a copy of the police complaint and fill in your personal information like name, email id, and address.

5) After this submit the form and after the submission of the form your phone will be blocked. With the help of this process, you will also be able to track your phone.
