Disadvantages of eating too many almonds in winter
- Almonds are high in calories and consuming them in excess can increase the amount of calories in the body. Anyway, physical activity becomes difficult in winter, hence excess almonds can contribute to weight gain.
Almonds contain a high amount of fibre. If it is not consumed in limited quantity, it may cause digestive problems. This may bother you in the form of bloating, gas or constipation, especially if you are not drinking enough water.
