Navratri, the holy festival of Shakti worship, is starting on Sunday, October 15, during the transit of Chitra Nakshatra and the Moon in Libra, which will conclude on Monday, October 23, during the transit of Shravan Nakshatra and Moon in Capricorn. During the period of this Navayagya festival, the living beings achieve their desired results by worshiping Mother Goddess Shri Mahakali, Shri Mahalakshmi, and Shri Mahasaraswati. During this period, if Sriyantra, the form of Mother Shri Mahalakshmi, is established and worshipped, then it becomes even more beneficial and a factor of progress.
While describing Shriyantra, the scriptures say that whatever is visible in the universe has its origin in 'Shriyantra'. Therefore, the place where the Supreme God 'Shri' resides in the same house, this proves that 'Shriyantra' is the correct form of the Supreme God and His power. Even in mythological beliefs, the word 'Yantra' is used for the house, hence this world itself is the house of Shri Vidya in which Brahma and his Shakti Parameshwari reside in a united form.
According to the scriptures, all the Yantras have originated from Shri Yantra, hence by worshiping Shri Yantra, one gets the results of all the Yantras together. After worshiping them, there is no remaining Sadhana of any Yantra. The bigger thing is that the worship of this Yantra does not remain fruitless. Keeping this effect of Yantra in mind, Brahma knowledgeable people themselves have called him 'Yantraraj'. On Shardiya Navratri, by worshiping Shriyantra according to the method, use crystal or lotus garland and say Om Shree Hree Shree Kamle Kamlalaye Prasidh Shree Hree Shree Mahalakshmayai Namah. By chanting the mantra daily one gets immense blessings of Mother Shri Shakti.
