Pratipada date of Sharadiya Navratri
According to the Hindu calendar, the Pratipada Tithi of Shardiya Navratri will start at 11:24 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, and will end at 12:32 p.m. on Monday, October 16. According to Udaya Tithi, Pratipada Tithi will be valid for 15th October, hence the auspicious time for establishing Kalash will be from 11.44 am to 12.30 pm on Sunday, 15th October.
Mahashtami and Mahanavami date of Shardiya Navratri
Ashtami Tithi of Shardiya Navratri will be celebrated on 22nd October, Sunday. Mother Mahagauri is worshiped on this day. And Mahanavami will be celebrated on Monday, 23 October. On this day, the Siddhidatri form of Maa Durga is worshipped, along with Navratri Havan, and Kanya Puja is also performed.
When is Vijayadashami 2023?
This year Vijayadashami is on Tuesday, 24th October. Vijayadashami is also called Dussehra. Navratri will be celebrated on this day.
